The project was built on 5 acres of tribal land off Hwy 2 about 30 miles south of the Canadian border. Sturgeon Station is an 8,660-square-foot travel center that includes a convenience store, Sonic (indoor and drive-through access), and showers for professional truck drivers. The fuel project included three 30,000 gallon underground fuel tanks and one 1,000 gallon underground DEF tank with five retail gas/diesel dispensers in the front and five truck diesel dispensers in the back.
